Dee, there are two great books about the Mothman story. John Keel originated the story in his book THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, and Loren Coleman updated events in his book MOTHMAN AND OTHER CURIOUS ENCOUNTERS. Keel's book was the inspiration for the movie THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES made in 2002, starring Richard Gere. Both Keel's & Coleman's books are highly recommended. If you pick up the DVD version of the movie, it also includes a documentary about the events, along with interviews with witnesses and researchers. Loren Coleman also keeps an active Death List related to the Mothman curse. It's a lengthy list of people who died suddenly or had unexplained deaths and who are related to either the original Mothman series of sightings or who are connected with the movie. An article by Coleman also features in the current FORTEAN TIMES. See Loren's site at: <http://www.lorencoleman.com/mothman_death_list.html> Richard Hendricks Weird Wisconsin www.weird-wi.com/

Thankyou Mr.Hendricks It is a real pleasure to talk with sir.We have the movie and I have read about the Corn stock story and did some exploring of the mothman..I will go to the site you told me and read the information.I am really interested in all of the different paranormal items...I can even say that I have had some of my own stuff happen all during my own life...And that I could write a book about it ....My husband knows about one time and also once it happened to him it evold around me. I don't know why! Anyway, I have had a strong feeling for this type of stuff.I have never made up stuff I believe it draws me towards it. I have looked into strange things ever since I was young....It may be because of the challenge it offers..not like that of regular life issues...I never liked dolls..I like Metal Detecting,Meteorites,Space. The guys always said I was one of them..Chad's and Your profession Sir,is something God has chosen for you to do and It is something not to be made fun of.Even the Police get situations that are unexplained and need to be looked at differently. So life goes on ,but for some it goes on as a question mark? You surely know what I mean.
