Two personal (very...) experiences that I would like to share and hopefully get some feedback on as well as a thought or two on whether or not I should continue going back to this location.
I would first like to start off as listing myself as... sensitive, to odd events. Not in that I scare easily, just things get weird. (Sorry if that's unclear.)
In Ham Lake, Minnesota, there's an old church rumoured to be haunted. I know it sounds cliche and whatnot, but either way, I went there on two occasions. First I'll relate the stories, then I'll give you guys my thoughts and see what you think.
On the first experience, I was there with four of my friends, Matt, Joey, Mark and Jordan. I was sitting in the front seat and felt fine then entire drive there as well as when we were actually in front of the church. We never left the car. Something in the road caught someone's eye and we drove up further to see what it was (it turned out to just be a bottle.) At this point it became difficult for me to breathe. Though it wasn't out of fright, it was as though something literally had me around the throat. Needless to say we got out of there fairly quickly, lol.
The second time it was again, me, Matt, Joe, but a different friend came with us, this time it was Alex. On the church road he began to feel pressure all around him, but not actually touching him. Other than that, things were fine. I even felt the same as I had the first time. We parked and got out of the car and went as far as to go up to the church doors. (It is no longer legal to go inside the church, but the grounds are open and there are actually some pretty interesting plaques on the outside to read.) Joe was reading one of the plaques and something just past them caught my eye. I'm still not sure if I saw anything, but it's a good chance that I may have.
Anyways, at that point I was no longer able to support myself with one leg, so I had leaned against Matt. I started freaking out a bit, and they got me back into the car and then again, at the same point as last time, I wasn't able to breath until we were away from the church.
Alright, now those are the two times I've been there. The only logic I can place to it to maybe prove these things as false were that I was reacting off of the fear of the others in the car and that everything was just in my head.
What I want to do is go back a third time with just Matt and Joe(both were stable and unaffected) to see if this is really true.
Any thoughts? I'd greatly appreciate anything that anyone could offer.
