Hello everyone!
This is my first post here. I have had a personal experience at a previous job in a town outside of Pittsburgh PA back in 2000. When I started there I was told by a two co-workers who live near the job that the building was once a machine shop in the 80's. They told me of an accident that killed a man when the over-head crane he was operating lost its grip and dropped a huge slab of steel on top of the man killing him instantly. They continued to tell me that since the accident 2 other business's have moved in and out of the building within 20 years. Strange things have been reported to happen during the third shift. I admit I was a skeptic and dismissed it as fatigue people were experiencing.
One night, we all finished up early and were hanging out in the break room which was a small site trailer with an office in it. I needed to use the restroom so I exited the break room, and started walking down the warehouse toward the main office where the bathroom is in, which is a bunch of larger trailers put together and placed along the back wall of the building. I noticed a man on top of the office kneeled down staring at me and not moving at all. I stopped in my tracks and asked the man who he was and what he was doing. When he gave no answer I walked backwards keeping him in site and yelled at the break room for my boss to come out. As he walked out, I was still looking at the man who has not moved an inch. I said theres a man on top of the office and would not come down. As I looked back up I watched him disappear like smoke. I has totally stunned. I has no clue it was a ghost, because I always thought a ghost would be see through like everyone says. This one was totally solid and looked so real! Anyway, my boss told me all the doors in the warehouse are locked and no one could have came in let alone get on top of the office without falling through the roof! So we did a walk through and found nothing. He then told me of a similar encounter he had a few months earlier while he was closing shop. I had a new outlook on ghosts given to me from that day on as well as a fascination with the supernatural. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen!
