I just caught " A Haunting " on T.V. and was shocked when I heard Green Lake, I grew up on Green Lake and my parents still live there and I have never heard this. I called my dad to ask him if he had heard this and he has, he is a big non believer.
I am going to be there for a few days starting tommorrow and will most definantly be checking it out with " witch road " also, againg I have never heard of that either.
My dad, at 66 says he will go to the cemetary anytime I want and sit anywhere I tell him. I am hoping not to get caught and if we do I hope they go easy on two old men!!!

Due to road construction between the Dells and my area, we were not even past that area...
Perhaps some other time. *sigh*

I am the admin of GICoollinks ..... I posted this site in mine, I guess quite some time ago. well the reason, Im here is, Im thinking if traveling to see the dartford cemetary 1st hand , And develope a section on it in my haunted wisconsin section . Right now, I am currently investigating the westfield Cemetery west, just outside of Loganville Wisconsin , where people has claimed to see glowing eyes late at night, but no Anomalie sightings as of yet. The Cemetery itself is about 60% civil war veterans, mostly enlisted men...... As far as I can see only one Commissioned officer. Interesting lay out just the same. Woul like to travel to the other side of the state sometime and stake out Dartford. My site is gicoollinks.cjb.in GOL:

Location Description:
The Dartford Cemetery is an old cemetery located in town. Residents live all around it. It has been haunted for many years. The main activities are dark figures such as shadows, and figures. Noises can also be heard. Most often figures seen are of civil war era soldiers, an Indian chief that once ruled and lived in the Ripon/Green Lake/ Princeton area (he apparently died while drunk when he was bet he could not swim across the fox river. He didn't make it and drowned.) The other main figure is members of a family. The children died of a disease, possibly polio They have a large stone building for their graves which holds plots for all the family members. At times, a person may sit on the roof and get pushed off. Orbs can also be seen, and feelings of being followed and watched. Apparently this did air on the Discovery Channel's A Haunting.... The episode inparticular is titled "Legend Trippers." I took the liberty of summing it up for those that have not seen the episode.
Basically, three teenage boys went out on Halloween of 2005 to make their way to the Mausoleum. Along the way, one of the boys was checking out a grave when he suddenly feels like his leg was grabbed. When they eventually reach the mausoleum, one of them sits on it and gets pushed off by an unseen force. At this point, two of the boys head back to the car, leaving the third behind. Now alone, this particular boy roams around to the oldest part of the cememtery until he sees a row of seven tombstones that look exactly a like. He thought he saw something, so he looked away from the tombstones and when he looked back at them, there were only five. He supposedly saw two children as well. Skipping ahead, in the fall of 2006, three more teenagers (two boys and one girl) heard of the rumors and headed out to the cemetery. All three of them sat on the mausoleum, while the boy in the middle told of the ghost stories. After he finished, he was pushed off along with the rest of his friends by the unseen force.
The episode also said that this is an old pioneer cemetery.
For those of you that are curious, I checked the rumor about this supposed murder and came up dry. There was no murder. Infact, Green Lake's violent crime rate is 1, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

In Wales,UK where I live half of the year ... Firstly sitting on a tomb..I do not think that is the most intelligent things to do, Even if it is a cause for alot of curiosity. I mean if I were dead and some little git sat him or herself upon my tomb..I would be miffed. .... Not to mention it is just plain disrespectful of the deceased. The previous poster asked permission to enter the cemetary which is always the right thing to do. But as amateur investigators, we all need to respect them as Holy places. Just because they are public does not mean we have the right to trample where ever we feel. After all, many people have paid for the right to be there or visit their loved ones. You did not. It is the disreguard of ametuer investigators that cause owners or authorities to close them off to the public. I would also caution those who would enter these Holy places or any other site to recite a protective blessing, as Chad does. If you really believe, then you must also accept the possibility of attachment. Demonology is nothing to mess with and very very real. When dealing with Native American paranormal activity, extra caution should always be taken. Believe it or not you are dealing with some very serious stuff....not a joke. Exactly! I can't believe how many people think it's a joke.
