Ideally I wold like to get out and do a little investigating (don't know where yet) but instead i'll probably get stuck handing out candy at home again this year.

I'm a big fan of A Haunting and Ghost Hunters, although I must say that I don't always trust these types of shows, simply because they're edited. I just feel that they tend to focus on the results and the ratings more than representing an actual paranormal investigator/investigation. Not to mention that they use provocation way too much. There was one show, and I forgot which one, where the guy doing the investigation (while trying to provoke a spirit) is cursing at it trying to make it do something. Not only unprofessional, but dangerous as well.

hi, i just heard about this last night and was wondering if anybody has any information regarding the Bear Wolf sighted numerous times near Holy Hill and surrounding areas (off of HWY 167, Hubertus, Wisconsin)? I guess this has been around since prior to 2006, but this is the first i've heard of it. There was even an article about it on the website for WISN (http://www.wisn.com/news/10400716/detail.html) Any information regarding the Bear Wolf would be greatly appreciated!

honestly, thats one of the things that scares me regarding hospitals. there are so many different people in different situations passing through those doors each day, and so many different emotions and energy, is it no wonder that hospitals tend to be alive in the paranormal? I do agree that there could be some good EVP samples collected, but as you said, the actual collecting of them may be more heartwrenching than expected.

hello to all, I was wondering if anybody knows of any good (yet non-expensive) infrared cameras on the market that they would recommend (also interested in an infrared thermometer too) and where I could find them for sale at fairly close to home?

once it warms up a bit, i'm planning on checking out La Belle Cemetery in Oconomowoc and Lizard Mound in West Bend. Later I might try checking out the Galloway House in Fond du Lac. There will be more updates later as i get my 2011 schedule planned out.

I think people just have that tendency to classify anything they don't know about as "evil" or "foreign" simply because they don't understand the true nature of it. This is why we investigate spirits, to try to find proof of their existence and help people to understand what they are experiencing, not to fear it. Although some people I feel say its evil simply because they want to have something to brag about to others. Anyways, when i get updates, i'll let y'all know.

I talked to him a few weeks ago and he said there haven't been any recent sightings, I did try to schedule a night over the summer to check it out and I never got a response back on when to go. I'll try to get in touch with him soon and see if I can get another update.
And I agree, I don't believe there is any true evil out there really. Sure, some people do some bad things in their lives, but that behavior is learned through environmental factors, they aren't born that way.

not gonna lie, you probably should rethink your involvement with ouija board usage. all the stories i've heard involving them never turn out good.

Anybody know of any good urban legends that take place specifically in or near Milwaukee or the southeastern part of Wisconsin (besides stuff dealing with Haunchyville)?

I've tried this before several times over the past few years and have concluded that it is most likely an urban legend. It's too widespread to be a local type of thing and there's just too many versions of it.
