Just wondering if anybody knows of any good hauntings near Iron River, MI (upper Michigan, Iron County)? I make it up there at least once a year and would like to know if there are any in the area so the next time i go up i have something new to check out. any questions or comments would be appreciated!

I don't know about other groups, but i know that i certainly do tend to limit or cease my operations due to the weather and temperature this time of year. Thats mainly because I favor outdoor investigations such as cemeteries, roads, and bridges. I have never done any sort of indoor investigation as of yet. I also have had some misfortune with my camera since a while ago my computer had issues and i think the driver software for it got removed by accident so i have not been able to upload any photos to any of my stuff...

At least in my case, i only rule in favor of paranormal activity after i've exhausted all possible and logical explanations. Only rarely will I ever jump to the paranormal conclusion quickly. Sometimes there are instances in which there is no other explanation but that. But once again, thats after i've tried to figure it out using logical means.

As i always do, i start with the most logical and earth based explanations for seemingly unexplainable events. Once i have exhausted all possibilities and tested as many as possible, I rule in favor of paranormal activity. It normally takes a while since i have to replicate the conditions under which said occurence happened because i currently lack the equippment to record and document the occurences. However, i'm working on saving up for that right now. Winter being my downtime normally, i'm working on compiling my "to do" list for next year.

its possible it could be Native American, he says there were alot in his area that were killed back when the area was being settled. he only lives a couple miles west of me, but i don't have the address. I've been keeping tabs with him for the past couple monthes, his house and barn area have a lot of activity. He always reports weird vibes by the barn at night. He also said that he witnessed another spirit which wasn't a shadow person. so my guess is he's got multiple ones in his house.

So a friend of mine has told me that he has sighted a dark figure moving throughout his house. he only catches brief glimpses of it but it normally appears grey and not wearing any clothing, or very little clothing. He is currently trying to find a time when i could make the trip out to his house to investigate it. Could this possibly be a shadow person and how should it be dealt with properly? Are these the same things as regular spirits or are they different (because on one website i heard that they are possibly demonic in nature)? any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was just wondering, does anybody here know of any haunted hospitals or nursing homes in the Milwaukee area (or anywhere in Wisconsin in general)? I've long been interested in abandoned/haunted hospitals (the medical kind, not the insane asylum kind). Anyways, any comments/stories appreciated. Thanks!

Believe me when i say this, the Peter Cooper Glue Factory, while definitely interesting, is certainly not haunted. I would not recommend even attempting to go into it. Between the asbestos and all the other hazards, you'd be better off not dealing with it. During summer some friends and i had attempted to get up close to it and couldn't even get past the barbed wire fence. Also, even if you did get in, you still run the risk of getting caught.

personally i want to see: Maribel-Hotel Hell Milwaukee-Whitnall Park Oak Creek-Bender Park Oshkosh-Winnebago State Hospital and Marshfield-Old County Hospital as you can tell, i'm quite fascinated with old hospitals! on a larger scale, I really want to visit Clinton Road in Newark, New Jersey (it has quite a reputation as a haunted destination)

its right next to Northridge Lakes Blvd. if you take N. Servite Dr. towards where Northridge (or the empty shell of Northridge) is, turn right onto N. Northridge Mall Rd. the funeral home is near a Dunham's Sports Store in a strip mall.
