So I got a photos album from one of my mom's good friends. Inside is all sorts of photos and documentation from her research on Summerwind and the Paulding Light from 1981-88. I will start scanning some of this in to share with you all. I was amazed what I found inside when I got the album. Lets start with the inside cover. Here's a piece of Summerwind from before it burned down.  Underneath you can see some writing (sorry its so blurry here). It's an autograph from Wolfgang Van Bober, the author of "The Carver Effect". It says: "Speak only good of the Spirits Wolfgang Von Bober 1985" |

omw---THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting these photos! Man, they look GREAT!!! Seeing these pics brings back so many memories from my visit (even though it was only last summer), and from the stories I've heard from those who visited the mansion before its destruction. And having that piece of wood from the mansion.....WOW!!!!  JUST AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see if you plan to post some more!!! |
