So I've been going to UWM for a while now, and seem to keep getting "graced" with having classes in the former CSM hospital building. The classrooms are on the ground floor. No clue what this area was used for prior to it being classrooms. Anyways last week as I in the hallway by the red elevators rehearsing for a presentation I had to give, I kept hearing what sounded like a child making noise/moaning, and it sounded like it was coming out of the elevator shaft. Now the child care center was closed by then, so I knew it couldn't be from the floor I was on, and had no clue why there would be a child up in the halls above for that prolonged period of time. I've always had the creeps in that building, does anybody else here have any information on activity or strange happenings within the old CSM building at UWM?

The last time I was there was in March of last year, and we had a bit of activity. We were on Fitzsimmons by the tracks, about 1 AM with negative wind chill. Three of us (me included) were near the reflectors on the signs there light up briefly like a car headlight had illuminated it, but there were no other cars on the road then. Nobody in the group had flashlights so it wasn't any of us that did it. We did feel a bit of a gust of wind, like something had passed by right after that.

Last March when I was there, we were there about 1 AM or so. It was a pretty cold night, with an almost certain negative wind chill and snow still on the ground. As we were getting ready at the beginning of the road, we came up on the train tracks with the reflectors on the signs. A few of us saw the reflector light up like a headlight beam hitting it, and shortly afterwards felt a gust of wind as if a car had just passed by. There were no other cars on the road.

it was weird too because we later went about a week or two after (i had looked online to see if there had ever been any accidents at that railroad crossing on Colgate Rd. and there had been, in like 1970 something and around 1980). Colgate Rd. is closed now due to the concerns regarding the crossing with the angle that it's on. We walked down the trail a bit at the end, didn't quite make it all the way to the crossing. The friend that was with walked over to the tracks and just stood still. As i walked over closer, things started to get hazy, like a fog was rolling in. We looked off to our right, and coming down the tracks was a single light, like a handheld lantern. it was moving slow like someone was walking along. She freaked out and we ended up making a run for it, but as we got further away we noticed that there was no fog. keep in mind this was close to 9:30 at night when this happened.

Last night a friend and I were on our way back from Waukesha. We were on HWY Q. just East of Colgate, WI. We had just crossed the train tracks and were somewhere near Bass's Country Store and the BP Station on Lannon Rd. when I saw a big hazy form, probably about 6 feet in height and definitely humanoid in shape near the right shoulder. It moved out of the lane towards the corn field and then disappeared. I didn't say anything at first since I didn't want to freak out my friend who is really sensitive to the paranormal. But she stopped herself mid-sentence and says "Did you see that?". I knew we had both seen the exact same thing (my first apparition ever!) and a couple minutes of shocked silence when i got a horrible chill that ran through me. We realized the heat was on in the car but it felt ice cold in there. We both stated almost together that we thought that it might be in the car. Neither of us would look in the rearview mirror or for that matter turn to look in the back seat. Anyways, i just thought i'd share my recent experience while it was still fresh in my mind yet. Take care and happy hunting!

It's on Main Street east of Gordie Boucher Ford and EVS. There's a fire station across the street from it. Intersection of Main St. and Old Orchard Rd. Shouldn't be much trouble getting into it, it's almost always unlocked as far as i can tell.

Ok, so a couple weeks ago i made it to St. Mary's Cemetery on the outskirts of Menomonee Falls and decided to try my luck within their mausoleum. As I walked in, i felt the crushing weight of the stale and sour smelling air. I noticed that the mausoleum was unlocked like normal and that there was also nobody else alive in the entire cemetery. I did get some EMF hits although that could have been operator error on my part since i didn't have a coin to jam into the KII to keep it on steadily. The one thing that did happen however was that there were some metal rods propped up against the wall by the windows and i heard a sound like something banged into one of them. I also heard those weird popping noises in there again and I checked for any heating or cooling vents or AC vents but i could find nothing of the sort that would suggest pipes making the noises.

no clue what causes the different colors but there was one time here in the Falls where i witnessed one that was kind of between yellow and white (meaning not quite yellow, but also not quite white) and stayed visible for a long time, although disappearing intermittently. could not have been mistaken as car headlights or fireflies (there were none active during that period of summer)

I haven't seen anything yet, although if i do i'll be sure to let y'all know. Thus far its strictly been hearing footsteps, and a couple intelligent answers given when combined with the KII sessions.

In general the house has a positive vibe to it and I certainly don't mind being here in it. There are times where I do feel like i'm being watched a bit. It's mostly just that room which feels a bit different. We use it more for storage now if anything, and nobody has slept in there in probably the past five years. I don't know if it is directly related to what i've experienced, since sometimes it's closed off and probably doesn't receive as much airflow, which could cause the atmosphere to be a bit stagnant in there. My grandmother had lived with us for a while back in the early 90's after we bought the house until we found her an assisted living apartment and she moved out. She died in 2000. Since she moved out, my other set of grandparents used to use that room when they came down from Michigan to see us.
It didn't always have that feel in that room. Of course, I didn't begin to pick up on those types of things until a bit later in life like in 2005 when my Aunt Evelyn died. It would be another two years until I actually took a serious interest in the paranormal.
Either way, the fact stands that there's a large EMF field that seems to center around the bed in the room (usually over the bed, at about 1 inch above, sometimes extending a foot or so up. There is one electronic clock in the room near there that's always on, although sometimes it ends up resetting (supposedly due to "mini power surges/outages"). When up close to it, my detector does pick up a strong EMF reading, but it has to be super close to do so, and the range doesn't extend that far from it. It does not explain either how sometimes that field is absent from over the bed, but instead in the basement.

i've never been bothered at night thus far. i always felt a bit weird walking into that room, like the atmosphere was a bit heavy. of course, now that i know that there's a intermittent EMF field in the room that usually is found above the bed, that probably explains it.

It's possible. I didn't discover the presence until the beginning of last month, which her 92nd birthday would have been on the 28th of September (coincidentally also my parent's anniversary), however, she still seems to be here yet. Even though I don't have a problem with it, it can be a bit hair-raising at times being home alone hearing footsteps near the hallway.

hello to all, i just thought i'd share a few experiences i've had in regards to my (well, my parents) house. A couple weeks ago I was testing my EMF detector down in the basement when i discovered an energy field near the back of it that hadn't previously had a field. walking through the area, i stopped at the wall and turned back around to find that the field was no longer registering on the detector (it's a KII). My parent's were out of town that week so nobody else was home, but I heard a creaking noise from the main floor that sounded like a footstep. I went back upstairs and proceeded to scan the rest of the house but found nothing until i went into the spare bedroom that my grandmother (before she moved out and later died) had lived in. The whole area above the bed had an energy field over it and when i tried to do a response test, i received an intelligent response. Now sometimes the energy field is not there over the bed, and i think it may move between the basement and that spare bedroom, but i don't know if there are other areas in the house besides those that it goes to. I've also heard that footstep sound recently too as of yesterday afternoon, except that i was on the same floor. Anyways, i thought i'd share my experience with all of you. thanks for reading and any input/advice would be appreciated!
