This board/site used to be very active. Some threads, I see have not been posted on in a few years. FaceBook has taken over, it seems. I was not able to log in on this site in months, today it finally let me. I did the *click here for help* thing and did not get anything. I figured that my account was not of access anymore. Tonight, I'm here, surprise!!!!
Anyone going to the Green Bay "Eat, Drink and be Scary" tomorrow night?

I had problems getting in to my account on this site for a long time. Just got in now... have you seen some of the old houses along Hwy 10, between Reedsville and Appleton and over, Oshkosh? I am in awe of them, hoping to find actual addresses and learn more about the properties!

This place is incredible, and for each and every season... it's about 45 minutes from here, and it's worth the drive, just to stand in the ditch and stare, and take a picture or more... and wonder.
Many years ago, and in the years when I am old enough to remember anything... this place was in it's final few years. I know a few members of the family who own this property, it's interesting to listen to them talk about it...

Hi Matt! I just realized you were under a new ID here.
I still check in on this site every now and then, when I have time... will this show ever be Wisconsin aired?

I still check in on occasion. The site is not as busy as what it was years ago. I miss the days that it was monitored more, by the mods. As for how the young people get on this site, even now that they have *their own side* -- it's still annoying and onboxious.
I usually battle a heavy work schedule, and when I get home, I try to not be on the computer all night... as I am an adult with a household and kids who are involved in a lot... a husband who works quite a bit and we have a house and household...
*sigh* I miss the way this site used to be, that's for sure...

I always wondered about the color difference too...

But what about Sarah Winchester? I so wish I had walked thru her house, even on a very guided tour... I have seen video clips and movies and read books on it, I just wish I would have been in there myself...

I used to frequent this site often. I think when I was working too many hours, I checked this weekly, not daily. Then when the teens joined this site and got so obnoxious, I just down right avoided this place. Their postings and comments got out of hand and even with reporting things that were unacceptable, there was never any type of feedback from the other side. I still do my walks and visits. It's just that I work a lot and I get annoyed by stupidity.

We were there a few weeks ago, it was a typical summer day. Dried up scattered purple flowers were near by. It's such a peaceful setting, nothing creepy about it in my opinion. Just really tranquil... I took pics but I have problems getting them to show up on this site. Oh welll -- that's the way the cookie crumbles, huh?

Carol -- this so makes me want to go there! I think I would kill to walk to the location, just to see the broken glass and be there... did you take any pictures?

Ezz, I just PM'ed you. Read what I sent. There are several threads on this site on the Indian Burial grounds. Regardless what cemetery it is or you think it is, or what the rumor or history or reputation, please be respectful to the deceased and the land...

I so want to go back to Glenbeulah soon! It's been a long winter, that's for sure... Just when the snow was gone and it was warming up, we got blasted with snow again... Blah.
The Third Ward is all too awesome! I love going there, and killing time!

Good grief. I have never heard of this story, and it's interesting!
As much as I dwell on Wisconsin history of people that committed crimes, this one will make me look at my empty coffee cans a little different in the future.
How long ago was this?

I read the book on Holmes... quite an interesting man, that's for sure. If you have not read the book on Holmes, it's worth reading (in my opinion)!
Carol, thanks for the informaton on this show. Depending on how things are in a month or so, it might turn into a road trip!
